Ingredients
- 25 g Parsley
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 250 g Picador Chilli (Achari Mirch)
- 400 g Pastazara Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- 100 g The Baker'S Dozen Zero Maida Pita Bread, Whole Wheat
- 1 ltr Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 diced onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.
- 3. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 finely chopped chili, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4. Add 3 diced tomatoes and 1 can (400 g) of drained cannellini beans to the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is heated through and slightly thickened.
- 5. Warm 4 pita breads in a separate pan or oven.
- 6. Serve the pita breads topped with the bean mixture and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley.
