- 1 Kg R.C. Fish
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1 kg Rice
- 100 g Garlic
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Tamarind Paste
- NaN Chili Powder
Instructions
- 1. Clean the fish fillets and pat them dry using a kitchen towel.
- 2. In a bowl, mix tamarind pulp, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, garlic paste, and salt into a smooth marinade.
- 3. Coat the fish fillets evenly with the marinade and let them sit for 15 minutes.
- 4. Heat mustard oil in a pan until it begins to smoke slightly, then lower the heat.
- 5. Place the marinated fish fillets in the pan carefully and sear each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- 6. Remove the fish from the pan and let it rest on a plate lined with paper towels.
- 7. Plate the steamed rice evenly across two serving dishes as the base.
- 8. Place the pan-seared tamarind fish fillets over the rice, adding a garnish of fresh coriander leaves.
