Ingredients

  • 250 g Carrot
  • 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the soy chunks in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
  2. 2. Peel and finely chop the garlic, ginger, onion, and carrots; dice the capsicum into medium-sized pieces.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for a few seconds.
  4. 4. Add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger, sautéing until golden and fragrant.
  5. 5. Stir in the tomato puree, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the soy chunks and mix well to coat them with the spices and tomato mixture.
  7. 7. Pour in water and bring to a simmer, allowing the soy chunks to absorb the flavors for 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Add the carrots and capsicum, stirring well, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  9. 9. Drizzle soy sauce over the mixture and adjust salt to taste, mixing thoroughly.
  10. 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or as a standalone dish.
