Ingredients
- 250 g Carrot
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- 2. Peel and finely chop the garlic, ginger, onion, and carrots; dice the capsicum into medium-sized pieces.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for a few seconds.
- 4. Add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger, sautéing until golden and fragrant.
- 5. Stir in the tomato puree, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- 6. Add the soy chunks and mix well to coat them with the spices and tomato mixture.
- 7. Pour in water and bring to a simmer, allowing the soy chunks to absorb the flavors for 5 minutes.
- 8. Add the carrots and capsicum, stirring well, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- 9. Drizzle soy sauce over the mixture and adjust salt to taste, mixing thoroughly.
- 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or as a standalone dish.
