Ingredients
- - Rice Flour
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- loose Ginger
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 250g Green Chilli
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the mutton liver thoroughly under cold water and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds until they splutter, then add finely chopped onions.
- 3. Sauté the onions until golden brown, then add minced ginger, garlic, and chopped green chilies.
- 4. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until it turns soft and the oil separates.
- 5. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala, mixing well to create a spice base.
- 6. Add the mutton liver pieces and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
- 7. Pour in 150 ml water, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until the liver is tender and cooked through.
- 8. In a separate bowl, mix rice flour, a pinch of salt, and 150 ml water to create a smooth batter.
- 9. Heat a flat pan and pour small amounts of batter to form rice cakes, cooking each side for 2-3 minutes.
- 10. Garnish the liver masala with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
- 11. Serve the spicy mutton liver masala alongside the fluffy rice cakes for a satisfying breakfast.
