- 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
- 1 pack (500 g) Basic Besan
- 100 g Catch Ginger Paste
- 100 g Catch Garlic Paste
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- - KATDARE BLACK PEPPER POWDER 12GM
- 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
- 1 Bunch Mint Leaves (Pudina)
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the boneless fish fillets and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. In a bowl, mix besan, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, lemon juice, and salt.
- 3. Add water gradually to form a thick marinade, ensuring it coats the fish evenly.
- 4. Marinate the fish pieces in the mixture for 20 minutes to let the flavors infuse.
- 5. Thread the marinated fish pieces onto skewers, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
- 6. Heat vegetable oil in a grill pan over medium heat until shimmering.
- 7. Place the skewers on the grill pan and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- 8. While the fish cooks, prepare the mint chutney by blending mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, salt, lemon juice, and a splash of water.
- 9. Transfer the mint chutney to a small serving bowl and set aside.
