Ingredients

  • - Masoor Dal
  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • - MF GARLIC CLOVES 100GM
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, allowing them to splutter.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté until golden brown.
  4. 4. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and the oil separates.
  5. 5. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt; mix well.
  6. 6. Place the fish fillets into the pan and gently coat them with the masala.
  7. 7. Pour water into the pan, cover, and let the fish cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.
  8. 8. In a separate pot, cook the soaked lentils with water until tender.
  9. 9. Combine the cooked lentils with the fish masala and simmer for 5 minutes.
  10. 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
