- - Masoor Dal
- - Baby Tomatoes
- - MF GARLIC CLOVES 100GM
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- - Coriander Powder
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, allowing them to splutter.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and the oil separates.
- 5. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt; mix well.
- 6. Place the fish fillets into the pan and gently coat them with the masala.
- 7. Pour water into the pan, cover, and let the fish cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.
- 8. In a separate pot, cook the soaked lentils with water until tender.
- 9. Combine the cooked lentils with the fish masala and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
