- 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
- 1Kg Potato
- 500G Loose Besan
- 500 g Onion
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
Instructions
- 1. Boil and mash the potatoes until smooth, then set aside.
- 2. Steam the fish fillets for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked, and flake them into small pieces.
- 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, sauté chopped onions, garlic, and green chilies for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
- 4. In a mixing bowl, combine flaked fish, mashed potatoes, sautéed mixture, chickpea flour, and spices (cumin, turmeric, chili powder, and salt).
- 5. Mix well to form a cohesive dough, and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 6. Shape the mixture into small croquettes or patties of equal size.
- 7. Heat the remaining oil in a skillet, and shallow-fry the croquettes for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- 8. Meanwhile, blend mint leaves, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and 2 tablespoons of water into a smooth chutney.
- 9. Remove croquettes from the skillet and drain excess oil on paper towels.
- 10. Serve the hot croquettes with the fresh mint chutney on the side.
