Ingredients
- 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
- 1Kg Potato
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250g Green Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Rice Flour
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Boil and mash the potatoes until smooth and set aside.
- 2. Finely chop the onion, coriander leaves, and green chilies, and keep them ready.
- 3. Steam or boil the boneless fish until cooked, then shred it into small pieces.
- 4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded fish, mashed potatoes, onion, coriander, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, rice flour, and salt to the mixture, and knead into a smooth dough.
- 6. Shape the mixture into small round patties or cakes, ensuring they are even in size.
- 7. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame and shallow fry the fish cakes until golden and crispy on both sides.
- 8. While the cakes are frying, blend mint leaves, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and water into a smooth chutney.
- 9. Remove the fish cakes from the pan and drain excess oil on paper towels.
- 10. Serve the fish cakes warm with mint chutney on the side.
