Ingredients

  • 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
  • 1Kg Potato
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • - Rice Flour
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil and mash the potatoes until smooth and set aside.
  2. 2. Finely chop the onion, coriander leaves, and green chilies, and keep them ready.
  3. 3. Steam or boil the boneless fish until cooked, then shred it into small pieces.
  4. 4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded fish, mashed potatoes, onion, coriander, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste.
  5. 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, rice flour, and salt to the mixture, and knead into a smooth dough.
  6. 6. Shape the mixture into small round patties or cakes, ensuring they are even in size.
  7. 7. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame and shallow fry the fish cakes until golden and crispy on both sides.
  8. 8. While the cakes are frying, blend mint leaves, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and water into a smooth chutney.
  9. 9. Remove the fish cakes from the pan and drain excess oil on paper towels.
  10. 10. Serve the fish cakes warm with mint chutney on the side.
