- 500 g Haringhata Boneless Frozen Chicken Breast
- 1 kg Rice
- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- - Ginger Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Wash and rinse the rice thoroughly and set aside to drain.
- 2. Cut the chicken breast into small bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
- 3. Heat oil in a deep pan and add cumin seeds until they crackle.
- 4. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
- 5. Stir in the chicken pieces and cook until they are lightly browned on all sides.
- 6. Mix in ginger powder, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt, stirring well to coat the chicken.
- 7. Add the frozen mixed vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- 8. Add the washed rice and stir gently to combine with the spices and vegetables.
- 9. Pour in water and bring the mixture to a boil on high heat.
- 10. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the rice simmer for 15 minutes.
- 11. Check if the rice is fully cooked and the water has been absorbed; fluff gently with a fork.
- 12. Remove from heat and let the dish rest covered for 5 minutes to enhance the flavors.
