- 300 g Nutrich Chicken Thigh Boneless
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes before cooking.
- 2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- 3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili, and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4. Stir in the tomato puree, turmeric, coriander, cumin, red chili powder, and garam masala, cooking for 5 minutes.
- 5. Add the chicken thighs and cook until they are lightly browned on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
- 6. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan, stirring to coat with the spice mixture.
- 7. Pour in the water and season with salt, bringing the mixture to a gentle boil.
- 8. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 20 minutes until the rice is fully cooked.
- 9. Turn off the heat and let the dish rest, covered, for 5 minutes to absorb any remaining liquid.
