Ingredients
- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- 100 g Diet Tofu Masala Tofu
- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- - Cumin Powder-50 Gm
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 200G Mix Lonche (200g)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under running water and soak it for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat 10 ml of cooking oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, stirring until aromatic.
- 3. Add the soaked rice to the pan with 300 ml of water and a pinch of salt; cook until tender.
- 4. Dice the tofu into bite-sized cubes and marinate with Suvarna Dal Makhani Spice Mix and turmeric.
- 5. Heat the remaining oil in another pan and sauté chopped onions and minced garlic until golden brown.
- 6. Add the tofu to the pan and fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- 7. Add frozen mixed vegetables to the pan and cook for another 8 minutes until tender.
- 8. Adjust seasoning with salt and mix everything well to combine the flavors.
- 9. Plate the jeera rice and top with the spiced tofu and vegetable fry.
- 10. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh cumin seeds for added aroma and serve warm.
