- - Fresh Tofu
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Ginger Powder
- - Garlic Powder
- - Cumin Seeds / Jeera Seeds-250 Gms
- 500 G Mongri Fali/Radish Pods(500 Gm)
- 50 g Cloves
- 40 g Orika True Cinnamon Stick
- - Red Chilli
- - Bay Leaf
- 1 ltr Pansari Tilsari Edible Vegetable Oil
- 100 g Salt
- 1 kg Water Chestnuts
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the rice in water for 20 minutes while preparing the other ingredients.
- 2. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and marinate with turmeric, chili powder, and salt for 10 minutes.
- 3. Heat oil in a large pan and sauté the cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and bay leaf until aromatic.
- 4. Add the ginger powder, garlic powder, and marinated tofu, stirring gently to prevent sticking.
- 5. Mix in the Frozen Mixed Vegetables and cook for 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- 6. Add the soaked rice to the pan, along with coriander powder and salt, stirring gently to combine.
- 7. Pour in the measured water and bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
- 8. Cover the pan and let the biryani cook for 15 minutes, allowing the rice to absorb the flavors.
- 9. Once the rice is fully cooked, remove the lid and fluff gently with a fork.
- 10. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving for a fresh and aromatic finish.
