Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- 2. Finely chop onion, tomato, capsicum, garlic, ginger, and coriander leaves.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and ginger until aromatic, about 1 minute.
- 4. Add chopped onion to the pan and cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Stir in tomato and capsicum, cooking until softened, about 3 minutes.
- 6. Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chili powder, and salt, mixing well for uniform seasoning.
- 7. Toss in the soy chunks and sauté for 5-7 minutes, letting them absorb the spices.
- 8. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh coriander leaves for garnish.
- 9. Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves, ensuring they remain crisp.
- 10. Spoon the spiced soy chunk mixture into the lettuce leaves, folding them gently to form wraps.
- 11. Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh crunch combined with the spiced filling.
