Ingredients
- Pcs Everest Rajma Masala 50g
- 500 Gms Organic Sonamasuri White Rice
- 500 g Onion
- - Baby Tomatoes
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Bay Leaf
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the rajma in water overnight or for at least 8 hours.
- 2. Pressure cook the soaked rajma with a pinch of salt and enough water for 15 minutes until soft.
- 3. Cook the rice separately by boiling it in 300 ml water with a pinch of salt until tender.
- 4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and bay leaf; sauté until aromatic.
- 5. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan, cooking until golden brown.
- 6. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt, cooking until the tomatoes soften.
- 7. Stir in the cooked rajma and let it simmer for 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 8. Add chopped spinach to the pan and cook until it wilts, stirring occasionally.
- 9. Sprinkle garam masala over the mixture and mix well before turning off the heat.
- 10. Serve the spiced rajma and spinach over the cooked rice, garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
