- 1 pack (200 g) Godrej Real Good Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Freshly Frozen)
- 250 ml Real Thai Unsweetened Coconut Milk
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- - Coriander Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- 1 kg Rice
Instructions
- 1. Clean and devein the prawns, then rinse thoroughly under cold water.
- 2. Finely chop the onion, tomato, garlic, and ginger to prepare the base of the curry.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds until they start to splutter.
- 4. Add the curry leaves, followed by the chopped onion, and sauté until golden and fragrant.
- 5. Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking until their raw aroma disappears, about 2 minutes.
- 6. Add the tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, cooking until the tomatoes break down.
- 7. Pour in the coconut milk and water, stirring well to create a smooth curry base.
- 8. Bring the mixture to a simmer and gently add the prawns, ensuring they are coated evenly.
