Ingredients
- 1 pack (200 g) Godrej Real Good Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Freshly Frozen)
- 1 kg Rice
- 1 pack (500 g) Basic Besan
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Catch Ginger Paste
- 100 g Catch Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- - KATDARE BLACK PEPPER POWDER 12GM
- - Rock Salt
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
Instructions
- 1. Clean and devein the prawns, then chop them into small pieces.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped prawns with cooked rice and besan.
- 3. Finely chop coriander leaves and green chili, then add them to the bowl.
- 4. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and rock salt to the mixture.
- 5. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until it forms a cohesive batter-like texture.
- 6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- 7. Scoop small portions of the mixture and shape them into round fritters using your hands or a spoon.
- 8. Gently drop the fritters into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- 9. Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 10. Remove the fritters using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
