Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 500 g X 2 Organically Grown Potato Combo
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
- 850 g Sundrop Lite Blended Cooking Oil
- 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
- 1 pc (50 g) Everest Tasteeto Black Pepper | Grinder Cap Bottle
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1/2 cup cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- 2. Season peeled and diced potatoes with salt and pepper, then sear in the skillet until lightly browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3. Add 1 minced onion and 3 minced garlic cloves to the skillet. Cook until fragrant and softened, about 3 minutes.
- 4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of herby tomato pizza & pasta sauce and 3 tablespoons of chili powder. Mix well to combine.
- 5. Add enough water to the skillet to bring the liquid level to about 1 inch from the top. Cover with a lid and simmer on medium heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Peel and cut 5 potatoes into small pieces, then add them to the skillet. Cover again and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- 7. Serve the stew hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
