Ingredients

  • 500 g Poha
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the poha in a colander under running water for a few seconds until it softens, but do not soak. Let it drain completely and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add curry leaves and green chilies. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  3. 3. Stir in asafoetida and turmeric powder, followed by the chopped tomato. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the tomato softens.
  4. 4. Add the drained poha to the pan and mix gently to coat it evenly with the spices. Season with salt and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Add the roasted peanuts and stir to combine. Remove the pan from heat and drizzle lemon juice over the poha.
  6. 6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve warm for a wholesome and delicious breakfast.
