Spiced Paneer and Chickpea Tikkis recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • - Tong Garden Cheddar N Jalapeno Chickpeas
  • - Rice Flour
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 300 g Ginger Paste
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Mash the paneer and boiled chickpeas together in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. 2. Add rice flour, chopped coriander leaves, green chili, ginger paste, and all the spices to the mixture.
  3. 3. Mix well to form a dough-like consistency and adjust salt if needed.
  4. 4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round tikkis.
  5. 5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat until hot.
  6. 6. Place the tikkis in the pan and shallow fry them for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. 7. Remove the tikkis from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  8. 8. Serve the tikkis hot with a tangy mint-coriander chutney or ketchup.
