Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • - Bay Leaf
  • 100G Oleo
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 1pc Watermelon
  • 100 g Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the mutton shanks thoroughly under running water and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a deep pan, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Mix in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, cooking for 1-2 minutes to release their aroma.
  5. 5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft, creating a thick masala base.
  6. 6. Sprinkle turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, mixing well.
  7. 7. Add the mutton shanks and sear them until lightly browned, coating them with the spice mixture.
  8. 8. Pour in water, cover the pan, and let the mutton simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes until tender.
