Ingredients

  • 500G Freshos Couscous Semolina
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 1pc Watermelon
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Dry roast the semolina in a pan for about 3 minutes until aromatic and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves; let them splutter.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, followed by ginger and green chili slices.
  4. 4. Stir in diced mutton sausages and cook for 5 minutes, allowing them to release flavors.
  5. 5. Add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, and salt, cooking until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.
  6. 6. Gradually pour in water and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  7. 7. Lower the heat and slowly add roasted semolina while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  8. 8. Cook the mixture on low flame for 7-8 minutes until the semolina absorbs the water and thickens.
  9. 9. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
