Ingredients

  • 200 g Nandus Mutton Mince
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • - GREEN PEAS 195GM
  • 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 15 ml oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and sauté until aromatic.
  3. 3. Drain the rice and add it to the pan, stir gently, then add 200 ml water and salt.
  4. 4. Cover and cook the rice on low heat for 15 minutes or until fully cooked; set aside.
  5. 5. In another pan, heat the remaining 15 ml oil and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
  6. 6. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. 7. Add the mutton mince and cook on medium heat, breaking up any lumps, until browned.
  8. 8. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt; mix well.
  9. 9. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mutton is tender and spices are absorbed.
  10. 10. Add green peas and garam masala, cook for another 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.
  11. 11. Garnish the mutton keema with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  12. 12. Serve the spiced mutton keema alongside the fragrant jeera rice for a wholesome dinner.
