A fragrant combination of spiced mutton mince cooked with aromatic spices, paired with creamy coconut-infused basmati rice for a hearty and satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 250g Green Chilli
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 100G Oleo
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for 15 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- 4. Mix in ginger garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
- 5. Stir in chopped tomatoes and green chilies, cooking until the tomatoes soften.
- 6. Add turmeric, red chili, coriander, and garam masala powders, mixing well.
- 7. Add mutton mince and salt, cooking until the mince turns brown and is fully cooked.
- 8. In a separate pot, bring coconut milk and water to a boil, then add the drained rice.
- 9. Cook the rice on low heat until it absorbs the liquid and becomes fluffy.
- 10. Garnish the mutton keema with fresh coriander leaves and serve it over the coconut rice.
