Spiced Mutton Keema and Coconut Rice Bowl recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 200 ml Coconut Milk
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100G Oleo
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for 15 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  4. 4. Mix in ginger garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  5. 5. Stir in chopped tomatoes and green chilies, cooking until the tomatoes soften.
  6. 6. Add turmeric, red chili, coriander, and garam masala powders, mixing well.
  7. 7. Add mutton mince and salt, cooking until the mince turns brown and is fully cooked.
  8. 8. In a separate pot, bring coconut milk and water to a boil, then add the drained rice.
  9. 9. Cook the rice on low heat until it absorbs the liquid and becomes fluffy.
  10. 10. Garnish the mutton keema with fresh coriander leaves and serve it over the coconut rice.
