- 350 g Laa Frozen Mutton Boneless
- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- Pcs Epi Yogurt Strawbery
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- loose Ginger
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 1 Bunch Mint Leaves (Pudina)
- 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 100 G Black Cardamom / Badi Eliachi 100 G
- 40 g Orika True Cinnamon Stick
- - Cloves Lavang Powder-10 Gm
- 1 pack (50 g) Tmi Colman Tezpatta Bay Leaves
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
- 2. Heat oil in a large pan and sauté cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and bay leaves until aromatic.
- 3. Add sliced onions to the pan and cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- 4. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute to blend the flavors.
- 5. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala, and cook until the tomatoes soften and form a paste.
- 6. Add mutton chunks to the pan and cook on medium heat until the meat is browned evenly.
- 7. Mix in yogurt and salt, then cover the pan and cook until the mutton is tender, adding water as needed.
- 8. In a separate pot, boil water with a pinch of salt and cook the soaked rice until it is 70% cooked; drain and set aside.
- 9. Layer the partially cooked rice over the mutton mixture in the pan, spreading evenly.
- 10. Sprinkle chopped mint leaves and coriander leaves over the rice and cover the pan tightly with a lid.
- 11. Reduce the heat to low and cook the biryani for 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- 12. Turn off the heat and let the biryani rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- 13. Gently mix the layers of rice and mutton before serving to combine the flavors.
- 14. Serve hot with a side of raita or pickles for a complete meal.
