Ingredients
- - Foxtail Millet Flour
- - Baby Tomatoes
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
- 2. Wash and chop the spinach, onions, and tomatoes into small pieces.
- 3. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and sauté onions until golden brown.
- 4. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- 5. Stir in tomatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- 6. Add the mutton chunks and mix well to coat with the spices. Cook for 5 minutes.
- 7. Pour 200 ml of water and pressure cook the mutton for 10-12 minutes until tender.
- 8. In a separate pot, boil the soaked millet with 200 ml of water and a pinch of salt until fluffy, about 10 minutes.
- 9. In the same pot, add spinach to the cooked millet and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- 10. Transfer the millet-spinach mixture to serving bowls and top with the spiced mutton.
- 11. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve warm.
