- 100 g Quinoa
- 500 g Onion
- - Baby Tomatoes
- - Green Peas
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under running water to remove bitterness.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown for about 5 minutes.
- 4. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking until aromatic for 1 minute.
- 5. Add diced tomatoes and cook until softened, forming a thick base for 5 minutes.
- 6. Mix in mushrooms and green peas, cooking until they release moisture for 5 minutes.
- 7. Sprinkle turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala, stirring to coat the vegetables well.
- 8. Add rinsed quinoa and salt, mixing well with the spiced vegetable mixture.
- 9. Pour water into the pan and bring it to a boil, then lower the heat to simmer.
- 10. Cover and cook for 15 minutes until the quinoa is fluffy and absorbs all the liquid.
- 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
