  • 100 g Quinoa
  • - Masoor Dal
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the quinoa and lentils thoroughly under running water to remove excess starch and impurities.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a large pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chili to the pan, sautéing until the onions turn golden.
  4. 4. Stir in chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala; cook until the tomatoes soften.
  5. 5. Add the rinsed lentils and quinoa to the pan, mixing well with the spice mixture.
  6. 6. Pour in water and add salt, then bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  7. 7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 20 minutes until the quinoa and lentils are tender.
