- - QUINOA SEED 250GM
- Pcs Bh Kande 1kg
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- loose Ginger
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 50 g Black Pepper
- - Rice Flour
- 140 g Modern Kitchens Raita Boondi - 100 % Rice Bran Oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the red lentils and quinoa thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 2. Boil 500 ml of water in a pot, add the lentils and quinoa, and cook until soft and water is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
- 3. Drain any excess water, then mash the lentils and quinoa together using a fork or potato masher.
- 4. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili until fragrant and softened.
- 5. Add the sautéed mixture to the mashed lentils and quinoa, and mix well to combine.
- 6. Stir in the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper.
- 7. Fold in the rice flour and chopped coriander leaves, mixing until the mixture holds together when pressed.
- 8. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into small, flat patties.
- 9. Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- 10. Place the patties in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crisp.
- 11. Transfer the cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- 12. Serve the patties warm with your choice of mint chutney or yogurt dip for added flavor.
