Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 250g Green Chilli
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 100G Oleo
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes in water.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them splutter.
- 3. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Mix in minced garlic, ginger, and green chilies; cook for 1 minute.
- 5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and blended.
- 6. Stir in turmeric, red chili, coriander powder, and garam masala.
- 7. Add minced lamb and cook until browned, breaking up lumps.
- 8. Pour in water, cover, and simmer until lamb is fully cooked.
- 9. In a separate pot, cook soaked rice with a pinch of salt until fluffy.
- 10. Plate the jeera rice alongside the lamb keema and garnish with coriander.
