Spiced Lamb and Coconut Millet Bowl recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
  • 200 ml Coconut Milk
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100G Oleo
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak the millet in water for 15 minutes, then drain.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili, cooking for 2 minutes to release aromas.
  4. 4. Add lamb chunks to the pan and sear until lightly browned on all sides.
  5. 5. Stir in chopped tomatoes, turmeric, coriander, cumin, and red chili powder, cooking until tomatoes soften.
  6. 6. Add garam masala and salt, mixing well to coat the lamb with spices.
  7. 7. Pour coconut milk and water into the pan, stirring to combine, and bring to a boil.
  8. 8. Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until lamb is tender and flavors meld.
  9. 9. In a separate pot, cook the soaked millet with water and a pinch of salt until fluffy.
  10. 10. Serve the cooked millet in bowls, topping with the spiced lamb mixture.
  11. 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
