A flavorful Asian-inspired dinner featuring spiced ground pork and fresh vegetables served over noodles, perfect for a satisfying evening meal.
Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 2 x 400 g Jvapa Rice Noodles
- 200 g Hydroponic Sweet Bell Pepper (Cocktail)
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch
- 750 ml Catch Clear Lemon N Lime Flavoured Water
- 175 Ltr Lee Kum Kee Blended Sesaame Oil Pet
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
- 350 G Wohhup Hoisin Sauce
- 150 g Urban Platter Arrowroot Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 5 tablespoons of oil in a preheated wok over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 cup of finely chopped onion and stir-fry until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- 3. Add 1 cup of finely chopped sweet bell pepper and stir-fry until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4. Stir in 4 tablespoons of hoisin sauce and cook until aromatic, about 2 minutes.
- 5. Add 1/2 cup of water, 2 teaspoons of arrowroot powder, 2 teaspoons of sesame oil, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stir well and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 6. Reduce the heat and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
- 7. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1/3 lb of noodles and cook until tender, about 4 minutes. Drain the noodles well.
- 8. Divide the cooked noodles into individual bowls.
- 9. Top the noodles with the vegetable mixture. Garnish with shredded sweet bell pepper for added freshness.
- 10. Serve hot and mix well before eating.
