Ingredients
- 100 g Quinoa
- 500G Loose Besan
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- loose Ginger
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 1 box Baking Soda
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under running water and boil it in salted water until cooked, about 15 minutes.
- 2. Finely chop the onion, coriander leaves, ginger, and green chilies, and set them aside.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- 4. Add the cooked quinoa, chopped vegetables, and a pinch of baking soda to the chickpea flour mixture.
- 5. Gradually add water to the mixture while stirring to form a thick, sticky batter.
- 6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat for frying.
- 7. Scoop small portions of the batter using a spoon and drop them gently into the hot oil.
- 8. Fry the bites until golden brown and crispy on all sides, turning occasionally for even cooking.
- 9. Remove the bites using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- 10. Serve the spiced quinoa and chickpea bites warm with mint chutney or tamarind sauce.
