Ingredients
- 1 kg Whole Farm Premium Brown Rice
- 500 g Tata Sampann Unpolished Kabuli Chana (Big Size)
- 50 g Minitz Garam Masala
- 250 g Mirchi Powder (Bedagi)
- 100 g X 3 Mtr Coriander Powder Combo
- 100 g Jk Jeera Powder / Cumin Powder
- 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- 1. In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, and 1 teaspoon cumin powder to form a paste.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the spice paste for one minute until fragrant.
- 3. Add 1 cup cooked brown rice to the pan. Stir well to coat the rice with the spice mix.
- 4. Cook the rice for 5 minutes over moderate to high heat, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- 5. Mix thoroughly to ensure the rice is evenly coated with the spices. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the rice is heated through and the grains are separated.
- 6. Serve hot.
