Ingredients
- - Chicken Breakfast Sausages
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- - Bay Leaf
- - Green Cardamom Powder
- 50 g Cloves
- 75 G Cinnamon Stick/ Dal Chini 75 Grams

- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for 20 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, and garam masala for 20 minutes.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves until aromatic.
- 4. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown, then add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
- 5. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until the chicken is tender and fully coated in spices.
- 6. In a separate pot, boil water with a pinch of salt and cook the soaked rice until 70% done, then drain.
- 7. Layer the partially cooked rice over the chicken mixture and sprinkle mint and coriander leaves on top.
- 8. Cover the pot with a tight lid and cook on low heat for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- 9. Remove from heat and let the biryani rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- 10. Fluff the biryani gently with a fork and garnish with additional coriander leaves before serving.
