- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- 500 g Haringhata Boneless Frozen Chicken Breast
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
- - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
- 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
- 20 g Chicken Stock
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then set aside.
- 2. Dice the chicken breast into small bite-sized pieces and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- 3. Mince the ginger and garlic finely, and chop the spring onions into small pieces.
- 4. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat and sauté the ginger and garlic until fragrant.
- 5. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until lightly browned on all sides.
- 6. Stir in the rinsed rice and cook for 1 minute to coat the grains with the flavors.
- 7. Pour in the chicken stock and bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
- 8. Simmer the congee for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice breaks down and reaches a creamy consistency.
- 9. Season the congee with soy sauce and adjust the salt and pepper to taste.
- 10. Garnish the congee with chopped spring onions and a drizzle of sesame oil before serving.
