Ingredients
- 1 pack (250 g) Venkys Chicken Kheema
- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Everest Garam Masala Powder
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
- - Rock Salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté finely chopped onion until golden brown for 5-7 minutes.
- 3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, stir well, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 4. Mix in chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and the oil starts separating.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala, stirring well to form a fragrant spice base.
- 6. Add chicken keema to the spice base and cook on medium heat until the keema is fully cooked, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.
- 7. Boil 300 ml water in a separate pot, then add soaked rice and cook until 80% done.
- 8. Drain the rice and add it to the chicken keema mixture, stirring gently to combine.
- 9. Cover the pan and let the rice and keema cook together on low heat for 10 minutes for flavors to meld.
- 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
