Ingredients
- 300 g Nutrich Chicken Thigh Boneless
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- 500 g Onion
- 50 g Cloves
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Mix Seeds
- - The Belgian Waffle Co Original Pancake & Waffle Premix 250gm
- - Loacker Quadratini Vanilla 250 Gm
- 1 pc (52 g) On1Y Paprika Powder
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the rice in water for 20 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
- 3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the onions, stirring for 1 minute until aromatic.
- 4. Add chicken thighs to the pan, cooking until lightly browned on all sides, around 5 minutes.
- 5. Sprinkle paprika, cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, and black pepper over the chicken, mixing well.
- 6. Stir in Suhaana Dal Makhani Spice Mix and cook for an additional minute to enhance the flavors.
- 7. Add the soaked rice to the pan, stirring gently to coat the grains with the spices.
- 8. Pour water into the pan, season with salt, and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 9. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer for 15 minutes until the rice is fully cooked.
- 10. Remove the pan from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 11. Fluff the rice gently with a fork and garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.
