Ingredients

  • 1 pc Cabbage Red
  • 2 Pieces Red & Yellow Bell Pepper - Protected Cultivation
  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 500 g Uttam Sugar White Sugar Cubes
  • 1 Litre Chtoura Garden White Vinegar
  • 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
  • 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
  • 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
  • 50 g On1Y Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Finely chop 1 medium cabbage, 1 bell pepper, and 2 onions. Set the vegetables aside.
  2. 2. In a large pot, combine 2 cups sugar, 1 cup vinegar, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp onion powder, and 1/2 tsp turmeric. Stir well and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  3. 3. Once the mixture is boiling, carefully pour it over the chopped vegetables in a heatproof bowl.
  4. 4. Stir the vegetables and the hot liquid thoroughly to ensure even coating. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  5. 5. Transfer the relish to an airtight container and refrigerate. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours before serving. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
