Ingredients
- 1 pc Cabbage Red
- 2 Pieces Red & Yellow Bell Pepper - Protected Cultivation
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 500 g Uttam Sugar White Sugar Cubes
- 1 Litre Chtoura Garden White Vinegar
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
- 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
- 50 g On1Y Onion Powder
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop 1 medium cabbage, 1 bell pepper, and 2 onions. Set the vegetables aside.
- 2. In a large pot, combine 2 cups sugar, 1 cup vinegar, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp onion powder, and 1/2 tsp turmeric. Stir well and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- 3. Once the mixture is boiling, carefully pour it over the chopped vegetables in a heatproof bowl.
- 4. Stir the vegetables and the hot liquid thoroughly to ensure even coating. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- 5. Transfer the relish to an airtight container and refrigerate. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours before serving. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
