A hearty and flavorful dinner featuring tender beef sirloin, black beans, and a zesty tomato base, topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese and served over crispy tortilla chips. Perfect for a satisfying and easy-to-make meal.
Ingredients
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 2.5 Kg Austin Whole Peeled Tomato
- 55 g 4700Bc Hawaiian Barbeque Corn Chips+
- 500 G Preserved Dried Salted Black Beans
- 1 kg Twf Bread Flour T55 - Specialised Maida
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. Place an oven bag in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Add 2 tablespoons of flour to the bag, twist the end, and shake to coat the inside.
- 3. Add 2 cans of tomato sauce to the bag. Squeeze the bag gently to mix the sauce.
- 4. Add 2 cups of preserved dried salted black beans, 1 diced sambar onion, and 2 minced garlic cloves to the bag. Arrange the ingredients in an even layer.
- 5. Close the oven bag with a nylon tie and cut six 1/2-inch slits in the top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
- 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the flavors are well combined.
- 7. Carefully open the oven bag and let it sit for a few minutes.
- 8. Serve the black bean mixture over a bed of corn chips and garnish with fresh tomato slices, if desired.
