Ingredients

  • 200 g Itc Master Chef Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Frozen)
  • 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 125 g Honey Roasted Peanuts
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil
  • 1 bunch Spring Onion
  • 1 pack (100 g) Daily Good Til / Sesame Seeds | Black
  • 100 g Salt
  • 300 G Assorted Chilli Pepper Sb Shichimi Tougarashi

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water to remove excess starch and set aside.
  2. 2. In a pot, bring 300 ml of water to a boil, add the rice, and cook on medium heat until tender, approximately 12 minutes.
  3. 3. Meanwhile, heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant.
  4. 4. Add the prawns to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
  5. 5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, and a pinch of chili pepper. Pour the mixture over the cooked prawns in the pan.
  6. 6. Toss the prawns gently in the sauce for 1-2 minutes until they are evenly coated and the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. 7. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and sprinkle sesame seeds and a pinch of salt over it.
