Ingredients

  • 80 g Soya Chunks
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 500 g Onion
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Garlic
  • - Rice Flour
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1 kg Water Chestnuts

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the soy chunks in warm water for 10 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
  2. 2. Peel and slice the carrots, onion, and ginger. Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
  3. 3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot and sauté chopped garlic, ginger, and onion until fragrant.
  4. 4. Add the soy chunks and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes to coat them with the flavors.
  5. 5. Mix soy sauce, salt, and rice flour with water to make a thin broth, then pour it into the pot.
  6. 6. Add the carrots and cabbage to the pot and simmer everything on medium heat for 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Stir occasionally and adjust the seasoning if needed, ensuring the vegetables are tender but not overcooked.
