Ingredients
- 80 g Soya Chunks
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 500 g Onion
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
- - Rice Flour
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 250g Green Chilli
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 100 g Salt
- 1 kg Water Chestnuts
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in warm water for 10 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
- 2. Peel and slice the carrots, onion, and ginger. Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
- 3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot and sauté chopped garlic, ginger, and onion until fragrant.
- 4. Add the soy chunks and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes to coat them with the flavors.
- 5. Mix soy sauce, salt, and rice flour with water to make a thin broth, then pour it into the pot.
- 6. Add the carrots and cabbage to the pot and simmer everything on medium heat for 15 minutes.
- 7. Stir occasionally and adjust the seasoning if needed, ensuring the vegetables are tender but not overcooked.
- 8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving and enjoy warm.
