- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 200 g Nutrela Soya Chunks
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the soy chunks thoroughly and soak them in 500 ml of hot water for 10 minutes.
- 2. Cook the rice in boiling water until tender, then drain and set aside to cool slightly.
- 3. Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
- 4. Add the frozen mixed vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until they are cooked but still crisp.
- 5. Drain the soaked soy chunks, squeeze out excess water, and add them to the pan. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- 6. Season the mixture with ginger powder, chilli pepper blend, soy sauce, and salt. Mix well to coat evenly.
- 7. Push the vegetable and soy chunk mixture to one side of the pan and add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
- 8. Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir-fry together with the vegetable and soy chunk mixture for 5 minutes.
- 9. Taste and adjust salt or soy sauce if needed. Stir evenly to combine all the flavors.
- 10. Remove the pan from heat and let the fried rice sit for 2 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 11. Serve the soy chunk fried rice hot in bowls, garnished with a sprinkle of chili pepper blend for extra flavor.
