Ingredients
- 50 g Honey
- 1 piece Banana
- - Mint Leaf
- 1 piece Mango
- 4 pcs approx (500g-650g) Apple Green
- 200 g Strawberry
- 1 ltr Orange Juice
- - Green Seedless Grapes 500gm
- 308 g Morinaga Silken Extra Firm Tofu
- 400 g Curd
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 1 kg Rice
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
- 250g Green Chilli
- 1 ltr Pansari Tilsari Edible Vegetable Oil
- - Coriander Powder
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 500 g Minimeal Onion
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into evenly sized cubes.
- 2. In a bowl, mix hung curd, lemon juice, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, and 1 tsp salt to make the marinade.
- 3. Coat the tofu cubes, bell peppers, and onions in the marinade. Let them rest for 20 minutes.
- 4. Cook the rice until tender. Drain excess water and set aside to cool slightly.
- 5. Skewer the marinated tofu and vegetables alternately on wooden or metal skewers.
- 6. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a grill pan or tawa and cook the skewers on medium heat, turning occasionally, until charred and cooked through.
- 7. In a separate pan, heat the remaining oil and add mustard seeds until they splutter.
- 8. Add curry leaves and chopped green chilies, sautéing briefly until aromatic.
- 9. Mix the cooked rice into the tempering, add remaining salt, and stir in fresh lemon juice for flavor.
- 10. Garnish the rice with chopped coriander and serve alongside the smoky tofu skewers.
