- 500 g Haringhata Boneless Frozen Chicken Breast
- 500 g Whole Farm Premium Bajra/Pearl Millets
- 100g Greek Yogurt
- 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- 2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt to make the marinade.
- 3. Coat the chicken breasts fully with the marinade and let them rest for 20 minutes.
- 4. Rinse the millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them crackle for 30 seconds.
- 6. Add the soaked millet to the pan and stir well to coat it with the flavored oil.
- 7. Pour 240ml of water into the pan, cover, and cook the millet on low heat until tender, stirring occasionally.
- 8. Preheat a grill pan or tawa on medium heat and brush with a little oil to prevent sticking.
- 9. Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 7–8 minutes on each side until fully cooked and slightly charred.
- 10. Once the millet is cooked, fluff it with a fork and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
- 11. Arrange the grilled chicken on a plate alongside the spiced millet for serving.
- 12. Squeeze additional lemon juice over the chicken for an extra tangy flavor.
