Ingredients

  • - Chicken Breakfast Sausages
  • 200 ml Greek Yogurt Smoothie - Mulberry
  • - Garlic Paste
  • 300 g Ginger Paste
  • - Red Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 250 g Cucumber
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and set them aside in a bowl.
  2. 2. Mix yogurt, garlic paste, ginger paste, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. 3. Coat the chicken pieces thoroughly with the marinade and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  4. 4. Rinse basmati rice in water until clear, then soak it for 15 minutes.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds until aromatic, then add the drained rice and stir gently.
  6. 6. Add water and a pinch of salt to the rice, bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and cover to simmer until cooked.
  7. 7. Skewer the marinated chicken pieces and grill them on high heat, turning occasionally, until charred and cooked through.
  8. 8. Slice the cucumber thinly and mix with chopped coriander leaves and a pinch of salt for a simple salad.
  9. 9. Assemble the bowl with jeera rice, smoky chicken tikka, and cucumber salad on the side.
  10. 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
