Ingredients
- - Chicken Breakfast Sausages
- 200 ml Greek Yogurt Smoothie - Mulberry
- - Garlic Paste
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 g Cucumber
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and set them aside in a bowl.
- 2. Mix yogurt, garlic paste, ginger paste, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to create the marinade.
- 3. Coat the chicken pieces thoroughly with the marinade and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- 4. Rinse basmati rice in water until clear, then soak it for 15 minutes.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds until aromatic, then add the drained rice and stir gently.
- 6. Add water and a pinch of salt to the rice, bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and cover to simmer until cooked.
- 7. Skewer the marinated chicken pieces and grill them on high heat, turning occasionally, until charred and cooked through.
- 8. Slice the cucumber thinly and mix with chopped coriander leaves and a pinch of salt for a simple salad.
- 9. Assemble the bowl with jeera rice, smoky chicken tikka, and cucumber salad on the side.
- 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
