Ingredients
- 500 Gms Organic Sonamasuri White Rice
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- 2. Rinse the white rice and cook it with 1.5 times water until fluffy, then set aside.
- 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and sauté cumin seeds until aromatic.
- 4. Add finely chopped garlic and onions, cooking until golden brown and soft.
- 5. Mix in chopped tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder.
- 6. Stir in the drained soy chunks and cook for 10 minutes, letting the spices coat evenly.
- 7. Add salt and 1/2 cup of water, simmering until the soy chunks absorb the flavors.
- 8. In a separate pan, sauté minced garlic in a tablespoon of oil until fragrant.
- 9. Toss the cooked rice with the garlic and a pinch of salt to infuse flavor.
- 10. Garnish the soy chunk stir-fry with fresh coriander leaves and serve alongside garlic rice.
