Sizzling Soy Chunk and Mushroom Stir-Fry recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 g Onion
  • 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 100G Oleo
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
  2. 2. Wash and slice the mushrooms, onions, and capsicum into thin strips.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them splutter for a few seconds.
  4. 4. Add ginger-garlic paste to the pan and sauté until fragrant, around 1 minute.
  5. 5. Toss in the onions and capsicum, cooking until slightly softened, about 3 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir in the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes until they release moisture and shrink slightly.
  7. 7. Add the turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, mixing well to coat the vegetables.
  8. 8. Pour in the tomato puree and simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  9. 9. Add the soaked soy chunks to the pan and mix thoroughly with the spices and vegetables.
  10. 10. Sprinkle garam masala and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  11. 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving warm.
