Ingredients
- 200 g Itc Master Chef Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Frozen)
- 250 g Jasmine Rice
- 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- loose Ginger
- - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
- 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Supreme Harvest White Sesame Seeds
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the jasmine rice thoroughly under cold water to remove excess starch.
- 2. In a pot, add the rice and 240 ml of water, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes until cooked.
- 3. Heat 1 tbsp of sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
- 4. Add the chopped garlic and grated ginger to the pan and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 5. Add the prawns to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
- 6. Pour in the soy sauce and stir well to coat the prawns evenly with the sauce.
- 7. Add the sliced chili and half of the spring onions, cooking for another minute.
- 8. Remove the pan from heat and drizzle with the remaining sesame oil for added aroma.
- 9. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the stir-fry for a nutty crunch.
- 10. Fluff the cooked jasmine rice with a fork and divide it evenly between two serving plates.
