Ingredients

  • 200 g Itc Master Chef Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Frozen)
  • 250 g Jasmine Rice
  • 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • loose Ginger
  • - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
  • 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Supreme Harvest White Sesame Seeds
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the jasmine rice thoroughly under cold water to remove excess starch.
  2. 2. In a pot, add the rice and 240 ml of water, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes until cooked.
  3. 3. Heat 1 tbsp of sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  4. 4. Add the chopped garlic and grated ginger to the pan and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. 5. Add the prawns to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
  6. 6. Pour in the soy sauce and stir well to coat the prawns evenly with the sauce.
  7. 7. Add the sliced chili and half of the spring onions, cooking for another minute.
  8. 8. Remove the pan from heat and drizzle with the remaining sesame oil for added aroma.
  9. 9. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the stir-fry for a nutty crunch.
