A hearty, protein-packed bowl featuring tender soy chunks stir-fried with aromatic Thai spices, served over fragrant jasmine rice.
Ingredients
- 80 g Soya Chunks
- 250 g Carrot
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 250 g Jasmine Rice
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 250g Green Chilli
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water and cook it in a pot with 300ml water until fluffy.
- 2. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- 3. Chop the carrot and cabbage into thin strips and mince the garlic and ginger.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the minced garlic, ginger, and green chili for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 5. Add the soy chunks to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned.
- 6. Toss the carrot and cabbage into the pan, stir, and cook for 5 minutes until tender.
- 7. Pour soy sauce and sprinkle salt over the mixture. Stir well to coat evenly.
- 8. Serve the stir-fried soy chunks and vegetables over the cooked jasmine rice.
