Ingredients

  • 80 g Soya Chunks
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 250 g Jasmine Rice
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water and cook it in a pot with 300ml water until fluffy.
  2. 2. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
  3. 3. Chop the carrot and cabbage into thin strips and mince the garlic and ginger.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the minced garlic, ginger, and green chili for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. 5. Add the soy chunks to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned.
  6. 6. Toss the carrot and cabbage into the pan, stir, and cook for 5 minutes until tender.
  7. 7. Pour soy sauce and sprinkle salt over the mixture. Stir well to coat evenly.
  8. 8. Serve the stir-fried soy chunks and vegetables over the cooked jasmine rice.
