Ingredients
- 500 ml Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 200 g Lady Finger Diced (Bhendi Cut)
- 400 g Pastazara Peeled Tomatoes In Tomato Juice
- 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
- 1 kg Satyam Sugar
- 1 pc (500 ml) Baidyanath Apple Cider Vinegar With Mother - Red Himalayan Apples - Raw, Unfiltered & Unpasteurised
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a microwave-safe dish for 30 seconds on High.
- 2. Add 1 finely chopped onion and microwave uncovered for 2 minutes on High until softened.
- 3. Stir in 2 cups of sliced okra, 2 cups of diced tomatoes, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
- 4. Cover the dish tightly and microwave on High for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the okra is tender and the flavors are well combined.
- 5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Serve hot over cooked rice for a complete meal.
